I am a western expatriate who has lived in China for the last five years. I was hired as a marketing/business development manager and relocated to China by a medical device manufacturer in 2002. At the end of 2004, I and many others lost their jobs in a merger. Because I loved living in China so much, I opted to stay here.
In September of 2005, unemployed and uninsured, I managed to contract epididymitis - a crippling condition that few doctors seem to take seriously or know anything about. I have now spent thousands on doctors who have done nothing to earn that money, and there is no cure in sight. Goji Berries... yes... I tried those too.For my health conditions, Those sweet, red berries seemed to help, but only during the time when I consumed them.
